Caroline is Lead on ESG Disclosure at Trucost, part of S&P Global. The ESG Disclosure centre of excellence helps financial organisations, corporates, governments and NGOs to identify, quantify and report on environmental, social and governance impacts of their operations. This information is increasingly being used to help inform business decision making and select investments.

Caroline specialises in operational, supply chain and value chain footprinting, as well as wider ESG reports working across a range of global standards and frameworks and help clients achieve best practice accounting and reporting. She has co-authored the Natural Capital Protocol sector guide for apparel. She has also recently managed net benefit analyses considering the impact of different energy generation technologies in built assets, cotton sourcing for a major international clothing company, and review of animal, social and natural capital impacts of wool production.

Prior to joining Trucost in 2012, Caroline worked as a Technical Consultant. Clients included Defra, WRAP and private sector clients, as well as the Institute for Prospective Technological Studies, a research arm of the EC.  She has a BSc in Environmental Biology.
