Formula One Teams Association (FOTA)

Trucost carried out carbon emissions profiling for the entire operations of the Formula One teams.

The Formula One Teams Association (FOTA), whose membership comprises all current Formula One teams, gives the teams a united voice regarding the future of Formula One.

FOTA wanted to understand the carbon emissions profile of the Formula One teams’ entire operations, from racing, testing and logistics through to the supply chain, in order to set a target for emissions reduction.

“FOTA commissioned the world-respected environmental research analysis organisation, Trucost, which has for several months been researching and analysing the full range of activities performed by and within Formula One teams and their suppliers and advising FOTA on measures that will reduce carbon emissions now and in the future.”
