AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM)

AXA IM commissioned Trucost to help integrate climate change analysis into its investment process.

AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) is one of the world’s leading asset managers, backed by the strength of the AXA Group. With assets under management (AUM) of EUR 512 billion (as at end of December 2011), AXA IM provides both local and global investment solutions for a wide variety of clients, ranging from the AXA Group and its insurance companies, to institutional investors.

AXA IM commissioned Trucost’s data on corporate environmental impacts in order to help it integrate climate change analysis into its investment process. AXA IM also wanted  to encourage companies to manage and ultimately improve their environmental efficiency, in line with their objectives as a responsible investor on behalf of their client base.

“Trucost’s global environmental impact data has enabled us to truly integrate climate change analysis into our investment process. The quantitative data is fed into our mainstream investment decision making process enabling risk management, portfolio footprinting, sector and stock level analysis and the simulation of climate change strategies across asset classes”.
