Liesel works as an Analyst and Research Editor at Trucost. She develops research to provide insight into the business implications of pollution and resource use, regulatory frameworks and environment-related trends. She has published several reports on investment risks and opportunities linked to corporate environmental performance. Liesel analyses the environmental impacts and strategies of companies to advise institutional investors on related risks and opportunities. She advises pension funds and fund managers on selecting companies and issues for engagement. She generates ideas for commissioned research, analyses data and writes, edits and project manages bespoke and published reports. Her role includes writing proposals, designing research projects to integrate environmental data into financial analysis and providing briefings and workshops on environmental regulations and research findings.
