London, Friday 24th October 2003: Trucost is a sponsor of the 5th Triple Bottom Line Investing Conference, the largest international event dealing with sustainable investment, which is taking place in Amsterdam from 6-7th November 2003. Simon Thomas, Chairman, will be presenting to over 500 guests from the investment and business community, in the Reporting Workshop on Friday 7th November, between 09:00 and 10:45, and Trucost will be exhibiting throughout the conference. Trucost is an environmental research organisation that enables companies and investors to quantify the environmental impacts of companies and sectors, in financial terms.

The Triple Bottom Line Investing Conference, now in its fifth year, brings together professionals from the SRI (Socially Responsible Investment) and business communities. This two-day conference covers the latest developments on screening, auditing, reporting, SRI analysis, corporate citizenship, indexes and research.

Simon Thomas, Chairman of Trucost, will present to the audience on the subject of 'Can the valuation of external costs lead to a single bottom line?' on the second day of the conference. Simon is a regular commentator on environmental measurement, reporting and analysis, along with other CSR and SRI issues, and he recently spoke at the Green Mountain Summit on Investor Responsibility in Vermont, USA, at which Trucost announced the expansion of its research coverage to US listed companies.
